“Love Me Tender” – Norah Jones
Sometimes I hate this time of year. Football season has begun. As much as I’d like to be in the family room watching football on HD, I’m here in the computer room listening to my iTunes and thinking about writing some stuff for my story.

Harden, Bobby, Byrnes, Swisher
Swisher is a good sport. He didn’t lose a step after getting pied by one Mark Kotsay (yeah, Kotsay, they saw you!). Nick is surprisingly articulate. Sometimes when they interview the guys, it’s a painful process. They mumble so that you can’t understand them or they say the standard stuff like “We just need to step it up” blah blah blah. Or if you have an untrained ear, you can’t get past the accent. (I would love to hear Marco Scutaro speaking in his native tongue. He has the loveliest voice!)
I can’t believe I slept through some of the game. Good thing it was during the unexciting parts. I was so happy for Bobby! And whenever I’m yelling at him, I like calling him Bobby. LOL!

From The United States of Leland… Ryan Gosling as Leland…
After The Girl Next Door, the hubby wanted to watch The United States of Leland. I should have taken shots during different scenes. Oh well, next time! It’s not an easy movie to watch, but the performances are excellent. The story is just so sad. Ryan is great in it, of course. Since we had already seen the movie, I could look at him and think, “Wow, I’ve met him!” And I could see bit of him, as opposed to Leland. Does that make any kind of sense? Well, it makes sense to me. 😉
