First Sunday of Football

It’s a big deal, the NFL season’s first Sunday. Well, for some people. Maybe I’ll watch a game or two today on tv. The husband is on his way to Candlestick Park or whatever they’re calling it these days. 😉

I’m currently uploading pictures from our trip to the East Coast three years ago. Three years! The only pictures I had previously posted were from the wedding we attended. But almost none of the pictures from Atlanta, Baltimore, or Washington DC made it online. The TRAVESTY!

When I finally decided to post the pictures, I realized that I didn’t know where I had put them. WTH?! A couple of months ago I searched for them. Nothing. Last night I tried again and almost the same result. I have some DVDs with photos on them and I thought, “Maybe I put them on DVD.” The last DVD I popped (an unmarked on at that!) held the exact photos I wanted! YAH!

Now here’s the funny bit. It was EXACTLY three years ago that we were in Baltimore. In fact, three years ago today we were in Oriole Park at Camden Yards and I met Mike Bordick! Still brings a smile to my face. I haven’t gotten to uploading those pictures yet, but here are some from our time in Atlanta.

Of course, spending time with family was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a neat time because as a family, we were in a different place altogether, yet with each other. 🙂

I had a really great time when we were out there. Makes me wish I were on vacation right now. 😆

The husband grew up in the Baltimore area. Three years ago was my second time there and I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t mind visiting again, especially during baseball season. Oriole Park is GORGEOUS! And there’s a lot of history in Baltimore. The Inner Harbor was even nicer the second time around. I’m uploading photos from the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards and the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum. Both very neat places!

Geez, all this sports stuff make me want to go to the ballpark. Alas! More later? Maybe! 😉
