the laughter sprinkles
light and sparkling
hiding bits of darkness
beneath tired eyes
the smile curves wide
twinkling with joy
masking weariness
simmering on the surface
the silence comforts
without questions
embracing the tears
holding them back from falling
I was bummed that Ryan didn’t win the SAG Award. Another time, another award perhaps for the young Mr. Gosling. 🙂 But I was quite happy for the folks on The Office. I LOVE THAT SHOW! Brilliant. And I loved how Helen Mirren won two for playing queens named Elizabeth. LOL!
Oh, but Ryan was cute all clean cut. And what’s with his lady McAdams and her pink streaks? LOL!
