catching up…

Holli posing!

I have been on my LJ so much that I’ve utterly neglected this wonderful space here. I feel bad! I know I shouldn’t, yet I almost feel as though I should let this blog go since I write so much at LJ. But I won’t. I like to keep things. I’m slightly silly like that. 😉

I am currently using a different browser to post and it’s tweaking a little. Oh well! 😆 I guess that means this will be a long post without that groovy break. 😛

I’ve been writing my poetry at shady satin (my LJ), connecting with old friends and new at myspace, and posting pictures to my gallery here at moonlitjazz.com. Yes, poetry everyday! It’s been most interesting trying to come up with something new everyday. I’m getting to a point where I think I might be repeating sentiments and such. Oh well! No one said it was going to perfect. 😆 Ahhhh, myspace. Now that’s a fun bit of cyberspace. I’ve been online for a long time and I know that there are things you shouldn’t share with the entire world. But people on myspace seem to think that they can just say and show whatever they want. It’s insane! It’s such a personal space, but people need to take a step back with what they do there. Especially the young ones! 😛 But hey, it’s a fun place and I have fun checking up on people I know. 😉 And my gallery! I am ever taking pictures, mostly of the doggies these days. I have posted a lot of shots, so take a look and marvel at my amatuer skills. Hah! 😆

Okay, I’m back to Firefox. Opera wasn’t working right for me in this. 😛

And in “real life?”  Well, I have a new job!  I am currently a high school registrar.  I started in May and worked two months.  Now I’m on my summer break.  Just a month.  But woohoo!  A whole month off!  When we win the lottery, I’m not going back.  😆

We’re thinking of going to Comic Con next week.  Lucy Lawless is there on Friday and Bruce Campbell is there on Saturday.  No autographs, just panels.  But still!!!  Ugh, it’s not fair if I don’t get to see them.  :P  I would LOVE to see Bruce again.  He’s spiffy.  And it would be neat to actually meet Lucy Lawless.  I’ve seen her live two or three times but I’ve never had the chance to actually meet her.  Ah dreams!  😉

Speaking of conventions, I’m HOPING that I get to go to next year’s “big” Xena convention in Burbank.  It all depends on who will be attending.

So I wonder, does anyone read this blog?  Hmmm…
