So right, not exactly the way I wanted the season to start. Alas! What the heck man?!

It was RAINING all day until mid-afternoon. Would the game get called? I knew somehow that it wouldn’t. When we arrived in our suite, the skies were still gray and such but all was dry. 🙂 Thank goodness!

The sun came out during the tribute to Bill King. It almost made me cry! It felt like we were touched somehow by his presence. It was lovely.

The little ceremonies presenting the Gold Glove to Eric Chavez and the ROY award to Huston Street were nice as well.

The game was CRAP. Zito was fine with the first two batters, but ended up leaving after 59 pitches and one and one third innings pitched. He only got FOUR outs. It was so disappointing.

But our suite had a great time. We had a full house. We even had a Yankee fan who didn’t talk any crap at all. 🙂 But oh how the game just broke my heart. I became detached after awhile. What a horrible way to start the season.

It’s just one game though. Ah, the silver lining…
