I don’t know why, but I’ve been feeling feverish all day! Ye gods!
Alas, I just tried to import pics from my memory stick and the program I used froze and all my pictures were LOST. GONE. They have CEASED TO EXIST. I had such CUTE pictures of Holli and some pictures from Christmas that I hadn’t yet transferred to my computer. I’m sad. I’m SAD!
I’ve had a decent 2005, I think.
I’m not one for regrets and I like looking at the positive side of things, so I think I can safely say that 2005 was all right for me. Let’s see if I can recount off the top…
JANUARY – My sister came to visit for our parents’ 35th wedding anniversary. It’s always lovely when my sister visits because it usually means we get to see our other family too. Blessed!
FEBRUARY – Ahhh, our second trip to Phoenix. We were there the first day of spring training. Got to see most of the players but didn’t get a picture with any of them. Oh well!
MARCH – We spent a week in Lake Tahoe. The weather was great up there. Cool and fresh and clear when it was time for us to go home. 🙂 And I got my lasik! I can see!!!
APRIL – BASEBALL began!!! The month also marked our 11th wedding anniversary. I’m old, eh? We celebrated our anniversary with our first suite game. Oh, and I bought moonlitjazz.com! 😀 Most wonderful!
MAY – My birthday month! We had GREAT seats for the A’s game on my birthday. Too bad they lost. Bah!
JUNE – Suite games rock and we took our co-workers in June. We had a great time! We spent Father’s Day at my parents’ house, which was wonderful.
JULY – The annual company party was in July instead of August and it was HOT. But a nice time, of course. 😀 I finally got my Treo 650. Oh how I loved that device!
AUGUST – Another suite A’s game and they won yet again, making them 5-0. A friend of mine asked for my number and promised to call. Still hasn’t done it yet, but I was quite happy he asked nonetheless. 😆
SEPTEMBER – Our East Coast trip! In Atlanta: My sister got married; we attended a Braves game; we did the Margaret Mitchell House. In Baltimore: I met Mike Bordick and we watched the Orioles play; we visited with the hubby’s grandparents. In Washington DC: We checked out the sights and walked for a long time. 😆
OCTOBER – Baseball came to an end and my A’s didn’t make it to the playoffs. Still, I think they had a decent year considering they lost Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder. I’m still sad about Mulder. Alas. Got the new video iPod. Cried when Bill King died. 🙁
NOVEMBER – We celebrated my friend’s marriage with a party at our friends’ house. Thanksgiving with my family was so much fun. Then my grandmother’s surprise bday party. More fun! 😀
DECEMBER – A decent month that went by much too fast! Christmas was lowkey and the holidays seemed to whiz by. Planned on going to the Xena convention when I heard that Erik Thomson was going to be there. Crashed from that high when he emailed me and told me he couldn’t attend because of a new part. Ah well, perhaps in 2007? 😉
Recent days have reminded me how much I love my family and how much I miss seeing them. And no matter how crazy life gets, your family is there for you. Just remember to love them back…
🙂
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
