A good baseball day. Mark Ellis is tearing it up! Five homers in his last six games? Where the heck is it coming from? Ye gods! 😀 And the A’s go to Anaheim one game ahead of the Angels, alone in first place.

The non-baseball stuff… Spoilers if you haven’t watched Prison Break yet!

We just finished watching Prison Break. Let me get this out of the way first–

Yes, the two who play brothers are handsome guys. Can I just leave it at that? 😆

Anyhoo, the show’s first two hours were stellar. I’m HOOKED! Of course, I’m easy when it comes to tv shows, especially well-acted, well-plotted shows like Prison Break. My only complaint (and it’s not really a complaint as opposed to a personal preference) is the ex-girlfriend. I don’t really care for her too much. But I do like that the gal from the short-lived Tarzan show has found another place to practice her craft. She’s pretty cool. 🙂

Character-wise, Wentworth Miller’s Michael Schoefield is an interesting piece. He starts off seeming to know everything but by the second hour’s end, we see he doesn’t have it all quite figured out. But he’s strong and determined and Miller plays it well.

I hope that Dominic Purcell’s Lincoln Burrows has a bit more to do in the coming episodes. He’s interesting, of course. Something besides blood must have driven Michael to this insanity of getting himself imprisoned to save his brother.

I guess the fact that I’m even writing about the show means that I enjoyed it. And I did. And I can’t wait to watch more…

I’m excited about going to Atlanta!!! Just one more day of work, then lots of packing, followed by very little sleeping. 😆
