Weekend rundown…

An entry not totally related to baseball. Can you imagine? πŸ˜†

FRIDAY: After work, we dined at Ruth’s Chris in Walnut Creek. I had filet and lobster tail and I couldn’t finish it all! Woe is me! But ah, all of the food was most delicious. The crème brûlée was wonderful. I love desert!

SATURDAY: My cousins and I went window shopping for bridesmaid dresses. We hit three stores. They tried on the dresses because I knew I wouldn’t fit in anything. (Do they think all the women trying on dresses are a size 6 even though the label says size 10?) We decided on a certain fabric, but nothing was tempting enough for us to plunk down some money. πŸ˜†

After the window shopping, we had sushi at Sozo. Once again, I couldn’t finish all my food. The travesty of it all! I was bummed, but I was full. Good sushi. My mouth is watering at just the thought of it. I love sushi.

And after dinner, we headed back here for cake and presents. My cousin baked a cake for me (for my upcoming bday) and both my cousins gave me gifts. They are just so sweet. I love them very much! πŸ˜€ They are always so good to me.

SUNDAY: Oh hey, that’s today!

We drove all the way to Manteca so that I could get a blood test done, then we dropped by the house to check the mail and junk like that. We made back to Livermore in time to watch the A’s game. The hubby took a nap while I watched Zito FINALLY get his first win. Sometime in there I also finished reading ACES. I should send Mychael Urban an email to tell him how much I enjoyed the book. πŸ™‚ Everyone should read it, btw.

After the game we checked out the Wine Festival downtown. Our friends’ kid was dancing, so we watched that. It was so cute! Reminded me of my elementary school days and the talent shows I endured. I was never a dancer girl (too bad for me), but I always liked watching. πŸ™‚ There were even boys in a couple of the dance groups. Ye gods! One looked like he could be in a boyband in a couple of years, he was so cute! πŸ˜›

Now it’s time for bed. Maybe I should write some emails while I’m still up. Hmmm…
