First off, THEY WON!!! WOOHOO!!! Coupled with Anaheim’s loss against Texas, the A’s now sit in first place, tied with the Angels. Awesome! 😀

Second, GO BOBBY!!! I screamed when he hit the homerun. (We were already on our way home, but it was still very exciting.) We listened to his short interview on the radio after the game. Modest boy.

I had a good time at the game, of course. We sat in our seats for two innings, then headed to the West Side Club and had food and drinks at the bar. It was a lot of fun sitting there watching the game. When Dye hit his homerun (go Dye!), we all hollered and it was great!
After spending time at the bar, we walked around and ended up in the second deck (aka the Plaza Level) and watched most of the game from there. Yes, we left before the game ended. We wanted a head start getting home.
A wonderful day at the ballpark! My last regular season game attended. This weekend is going to be fun and nervewracking! LOL!
