I don’t know why, but the fact that Mulder was the starting pitcher today did not give me the same kind of confidence for a win as it has in the past. It makes me mad! Mulder is still looking horrible on the mound.
Doesn’t stop me from taking screenshots, of course.
But that’s beside the point! What’s Mulder’s problem? He’s ineffective. And I ADORE him. So it hurts to think that he’s not doing well. It hurts even more to witness. It’s frustrating.

The Moneyball book is pretty interesting. I’m on the Scott Hatteberg chapter. I can already tell that I’m going to have to re-read this book. I’m skimming too much on the non-A’s stuff. (Yes, I’m skimming a little!)
Awhile back, I received an email from a young Ryan fan who thought I was Ryan. Usually I just discard those emails, but for some reason I replied to this young fan. She ended up being TEN (hello, where are her parents?!) and she asked me if I was going to stop talking to her because she’s young. Well, I didn’t want to be rude or anything, so I continued the email exchange. But man, ever since I found out how old she was, I’ve felt a little uncomfortable emailing with her. It’s just WEIRD. I think I wouldn’t want my ten year old chatting with an adult. It feels like a trap. Like this would be a good way for cops to trap perverts. Know what I mean?
For example, should a ten year old girl ask if I think Ryan is “hot?” Would I really go on and on about how “hot” I think Ryan is to a ten year old?! Umm, no. (Besides, Ryan was never “hot” to me anyway. He’s cute and overwhelmingly talented, but not what I would consider “hot.”) The whole thing is just weird. And again, where the hell are her parents?
