The Nominees for the 76th Academay Awards Go LOTR:ROTK!!! And Johnny Depp has been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role. WOW! Go Johnny Depp! 😀

Mulder says leg is healed – Mulder is ready for some action! But apparently not on the golf course. Poor thing. 😉

“I have the shanks,” he groaned. “I’m quitting the game of golf until the end of the baseball season. I’m miserable.

“I won the thing last year, and they announced me on the 1st tee, ‘Defending champion Mark Mulder of the Oakland A’s,’ and bam, I hit a 3-iron out of bounds. The 2nd tee box, I hit a driver out of bounds. I’ve never been so embarrassed. (Barry) Zito could beat me right now, and he’s played twice in his life.”

I laughed when I read the Zito bit. 😉 Anything Barry Zito makes me laugh for some reason.

“LET THE GAMES BEGIN” – A quick rundown of the episode…

Barry Zito plays, umm, a version of himself! He and Chris Isaak have become buddies and Chris decides to introduce his manager Yola (Kristin Datillo) to Zito. The two hit it off and begin dating. Chris, insisting he’s not bothered by it, is quite bothered by it and everything becomes a competition between him and Zito.

Zito was just too cute in the episode! I think my favorite part was when he got to jam with Chris and the band. He sang (I think it was him singing) a re-worked (supposedly by Zito) version of Chris Isaak’s song “I Want Your Love.” And he sounded good! 😀 He played the guitar and sang. If you weren’t in love with Zito in the beginning of the episode, you were by the end.

Oh, not that I’m in love with him. He was so cute though!

I wonder how much of his own quirks were used for his character on the show. Something to ask him if I ever get the chance? 😉
