on the jukebox: “Nessun Dorma (from “Turandot”) by Michael Amante
Hall opens doors to Eckersley… I am so happy for Eck! I first started watching baseball just before he joined the A’s and when he came along, he was just AWESOME! I loved the cool wildness about him. And man, what a closer! So, I tip my imaginary cap to Mr. Eckersley. He totally deserves it…

MARRIED? YOU DON’T SAY!
As I drove down Gleason on my way to work, my phone rang. It was my friend Rachel! It was great to hear from her and she had a big surprise to boot. She and her fellow decided to move their wedding date up. Instead of getting married in 2006, they decided on the end of February/beginning of March. This year. 2004. And she wants me to be in it!
YE GODS!
As much as I want to be there for her, I think the short notice shall be my downfall. I simply won’t have enough time on the books to go to Ohio next month, then to Hawaii in April. Totally sucks!
So I’m a bit sad. I hope she understands. Alas…

Isn’t it cute how you can see just one of Saffy’s eyes? Meggie is looking adorable as usual…
