THE RETURN OF THE KING

on the jukebox: “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” by Michael BublΓ©

I LOVED IT!!!

1. Karl Urban (Γ‰omer) had more screentime! I think he even had more lines, but he definitely had more screentime. It was so cool seeing him on the big screen. He kicked ass! πŸ˜€ Go Karl!

2. Legolas ROCKED! Sure, the whole Orlando Bloom thing. Whatever. But Legolas kicked ass! A one elf wrecking machine. Yowsa! And fine, OBloom was lovely. I wish he had more lines. He’s got such a voice. Ahhh…

3. I cried for Sam. I think the other hobbits made me cry too. Oh, and I cried for Eowyn after her big battle scene.

The movie was wonderful. I would definitely watch it again in the theatre. I actually stayed in my seat for the whole thing. I didn’t get up for a bathroom break. Groovy! πŸ™‚ And I really did love seeing Karl on screen. He was in more scenes and had more lines than in The Two Towers.

Ahhh, OBloom. He was fun to watch as well. I still like him as Will Turner more. πŸ˜‰

I thought Sean Astin was FANTASTIC. Sam was so loyal and he played him so well.

Now I can’t wait to see the extended version of this film. I have a feeling a lot was cut out…

There it is, my unexpert opinion of The Return of the King. πŸ™‚

AND THE REST OF MY DAY…

After the movie we headed out to the mall. After walking around the whole downstairs and upstairs, we left and stopped at Best Buy. We got the HP Photosmart 245. (My Christmas present!) I haven’t hooked it up yet, but I will sometime this weekend. After that we ventured out to Costco and bought more stuff.

We didn’t do the First Pitch thing in Oakland. Why? Because it was too far. And it’s not like Mark Mulder was there or anything. I think if Mulder had been there, I would have definitely gone. Now if I find out he was there, I’m going to kick myself! πŸ˜›
