A’s acquire OF Kielty from Toronto
I’m a little sad that Ted Lilly is gone. I thought he did a fantastic job after Mulder’s injury. And he’s such a babyface! 😉 Oh well, I wish him luck in Toronto. As for Kielty, I know nothing about him. Sounds like he’ll be an asset for the outfield, as well as payroll. Always the bottom line…
The news I’m dreading is this one:
Long, Hernandez would go to Padres
The trade would be Ramon Hernandez and Terence Long for outfielder Mark Kotsay. The A’s are looking over Kotsay’s medical records first.
I love Ramon Hernandez and I’m SAD that he’s probably going to be traded. He’s been THE catcher and I’m going to miss him. Alas.
But the deal’s not done yet!
SO YEAH, I’M STILL SICK…
I didn’t got into work today, this time on a sick day. I woke up at 0830 hrs and felt like crap. So I let the dogs out and called work and let them know that I was sick. Then I let the dogs back in and went back to bed and slept for another three hours.
I spent the day playing on the computer and reading. I finished FAKING IT by Jennifer Crusie. Very cool book. I’m going to have to pick up her others.
