Ahhh, the weekend…

I didn’t realize until late this past week that next week has a holiday. Woohoo! 😀 A day off for me. I love days off. 😉

Tomorrow (err, today actually) my dogs get groomed. This is what they looked like after their last grooming:
Meggie in the background, Saffy up front

You can’t really tell that Meggie got groomed. But Saffy has that tell tale ribbon on the top of her head. 😉

I’m trying not to let work get to me, but I think I perhaps like getting annoyed sometimes. It’s good to feel something, even if it’s something stupid like annoyance.

Why do I always forget what I want to write about when I’m finally in front of the computer? Wait, it’s coming to me…

WOES OF TELEVISION WATCHING…

SURVIVOR – I was disappointed by Savage getting voted off. BUMMER! I liked him. I guess he should have been more forthright with Lill. Perhaps if he had, he’d still be there. I really wish they had voted off that annoying guy John. He’s such an ass! (I know, I shouldn’t say such things, but ye gods!) On the plus side, I was very glad to see Burton voted back on. As I studied him, I was suddenly struck by the way his mouth reminded me of Kevin Smith. It was like a punch in the gut. What a strange time to think of Kevin. Speaking of Kevin…

HERCULES THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS – When we turned on the tv this morning (Friday morning), the Sci-Fi channel was having a mini-Hercules marathon or something. The episode that started at 11 was “What’s in a Name?” That episode just happened to be Kevin Smith’s first appearance on the show. He played Iphicles, Hercules’ half brother. It was good to catch glimpses of him as I had lunch and got ready for work. Oh, how I miss him…

TARZAN – Looks like Tarzan, a show I enjoy very much, is going on hiatus. It’s probably going to get cancelled, which SUCKS! Sure, my main draw in the first place was Mitch Pileggi and Lucy Lawless, but I’ve come to really enjoy the performances by Sarah Wayne Callies and Travis Fimmel. I think “Jane” is a really cool character. Or maybe I just have a natural appreciation for cop characters nowadays. Well, good cop characters. 😉

COUPLING (US version) – What made them think they could do this show anyway? But I watched it because I was curious. And I think it’s a shame that they didn’t give the show a chance. I was hoping for more “original” (ie non-British version) episodes. I enjoyed the last episode. Patrick was a HOOT! Now we won’t know what happens with the American counterparts to the British hit. On the very plus side, the original COUPLING is set to begin production on the fourth series. WOOHOO! Have I mentioned that I love the show? I do!

JAKE 2.0 – Yeehaw, we get a whole season of JAKE 2.0! I’m so glad! I would love if ONE new show that I like actually makes it past the first season. JAKE 2.0 is a cool show. I can totally relate to geekiness of Jake. He’s cool. 🙂

LAS VEGAS – Another show that’s gotten a full season order. I love LAS VEGAS. All the characters are a trip. And okay, I love the Danny character. He’s cool. And wouldn’t you know it, Josh Duhamel (“Danny”) played on All My Children. I probably saw him on the soap! He could have been Dusty Donovan on As the World Turns? Wow, he’s also an Emmy winner! Cool beans. He’s a good actor. 🙂

Do I watch too much tv or what?! LOL!
