My last moments today with my friend Mike…
I can’t believe I was at a loss at what to say to you, my friend. I think I might have cried if I had said more than I did. I almost started crying when I was going down K-line. So silly!
But as you said, it’s NOT goodbye. We’ll see each other again. And until then, technology allows us to keep in touch. Although I suppose we could be old-fashioned and write letters and postcards. 😉
I don’t know how many times I can say it, but each time I do say it, I mean it– I’m going to miss you! Who’s going to laugh at me when I cuss out the courts? Who’s going to drop the random movie quotes? What was it today, Office Space? 😉 And who’s going to bring that bit of sunshine into the office?
Mike, you’re silly and sweet and a good man. I love that we got to get to know you. THANK YOU for everything, for all your help and for your friendship.
