I just let the dogs in from their morning walk in the grass and the squirrel ran across the fence as I shut the door. Too bad, the dogs missed it!
The weather has cooled down and the wind has picked up. I guess it’s a good thing the pool guy comes today to clean the pool. A bunch of leaves and things have drifted in.
I’m almost finished reading BAD BOYS ONLINE. What do they call it, “erotic romance?” HOT! LOL! Yesterday I read a story in which the main gal’s name was “Candy Appleton.” LOL! I liked the story, but I wasn’t too into the fact they were both drop dead gorgeous. I usually prefer that the quiet kind of beauty. At least, that’s how I write my characters…
Just one more night here, then it’s back to Salida! As much as I love the short drive to work (I’ve used a whole quarter tank of gas!), I want to sleep in my own bed and have only two dogs fuss at me. Of course, I would love to live out here, closer to work. Perhaps I should just try to find a job in my area, eh?
And as for work, I just want to say that I am going to miss Mike A LOT. I know I said it before, but it’s worth repeating. He’s been a wonderful co-worker and a lovely friend. I wish there were more like him at work and in life…
