just because I wish that I were still on vacation…
So, I didn’t go to work today. I woke up, fiddled online a bit to snap out of my sleepy state, then realized I wasn’t going to snap out of it. I called in sick and stayed home. I just feel so weary!
To Disgruntled Employee: I can’t believe “Florita” aka Estelle Costanza look-a-like (that’s a good one!) did such a kiss ass thing. And how CREEPY! I knew she had a crush on Sup Peanut H, but EWWW! And really, it’s totally inappropriate if you ask me. And just plain GROSS! Blah!
Darn it, I watched Joan of Arcadia. And I liked it! First off, I always get a kick out of saying, “Hey, I remember her from this or that soap opera.” Amber Tamblyn was on General Hospital as Emily Bowen Quartermaine and I actually saw her on the show. I’ve been seeing a lot of former soap folks on different things. It’s kinda neat, when you think of it. I always enjoyed the soap operas and I don’t think those actors get their proper credit. They’re just as hardworking as anyone else…
One of the good things about staying home was that I got to chat online with a couple of my friends. 🙂 Kim got the postcard I sent her from Lake Tahoe. (Woohoo, the postal service at work!) I hope she watched Joan of Arcadia tonight because her other favorite fellow (actually, she has as many as I do) was on as Vice Principal Price. Patrick Fabian, if you’re wondering. 😉
And speaking of fellows, my other friend was on his way out to get his head shaved for a gig. (Am I allowed yet to say that we’re corresponding? You can never tell.) Anyhoo, he’s going to be on a tv show where he plays a marine who gets beaned by a 95 mph fastball. Guess who’s playing the navy pitcher? Guess who had to get his hair, his beautiful brown hair cut short as a navy man would? My fellow A’s fans might know the answer if they’re keeping track of their fellows in the off season.
