I hate coming back to work after a vacation. And so far Tuesday and Wednesday have sucked, Wednesday more so. Blah!
Athletics season in review – Well, I’m still bitter about the way the season ended for my boys, but I do want to look on the bright side too. They had a FANTASTIC year and I’m still very proud of them. I hope Keith Foulke stays (PLEASE KEEP HIM!!!), but I’m pretty much resigned to the fact that Miguel Tejada will likely bid farewell. Alas.
Our muster on Wednesday annoyed me. Why do TPTB want to change things when they don’t even really know what we’re going through in the office? I totally understand that the godforsaken have the right to bail, but we should also have the opportunity to give complete and accurate information. We’re giving the information correctly (for the most part), but we don’t have enough staff to have ONE person dedicated to the phone desk. Do they understand that? I don’t know…
I’m really going to miss talking about the A’s during the next few months…
My friend Kristine has just begun her own weblog! I don’t know if she wants me linking to her, so I’ll just say that I’m glad that someone I know is blogging. Now if my other friends would only follow suit. I like reading other blogs! I’m nosy that way. 😉
On my home Wednesday night, I was caught by the misty beauty of the waning moon. It was bright, but the lightest clouds seemed to veil its glow just a bit. It made me wish I could take a picture of it. Ah well…
