Speaking of my favorite thing, I won’t be going to any first round playoff games. Jen, I hope you get to go and I hope they WIN! I’m personally hoping that the A’s will still be in it when I come back from vacation and I can go to a game then. But I don’t want to get ahead of myself. First they need to kick some Red Sox ass! (Sorry to my fellow baseball fans of the Red Sox persuasion.)
We watched CSI on Thursday night and I meant to say, OH MY GOSH, BRIAN BLOOM! Isn’t it strange? I was pondering my one time “affection” for him just a couple of weeks ago because I happened upon a movie of his and once again he graces my tv screen. This time he played a husband who, with his wife, picks up (or gets picked up?) by another couple for a little freak time. Yeah, that’s why it’s Vegas baby. 😉
Also on Thursday was the series premiere of the American version of Coupling. At this very moment, I like the original Coupling MUCH BETTER. Sure, it’s raunchy and silly and totally about sex, but it’s an adult show. I don’t think America is quite ready for it. And I just hate all the “Isn’t the British show just a rip-off of ‘Friends’, etc” crap. Umm, no! But that’s only my opinion. I’m giving the American version of Coupling a chance. Perhaps we’ll get more insight into the characters and maybe it’ll stand on its own in that respect. But after the first ep, it just seems like an uncomfortable remake.
I’m so glad Boomtown is back for a second season. I hope it survives the Friday timeslot. Hey, we’re watching it! Of course, we have TiVo, so we can watch almost anything! 😛
My kiari.com email is pissing me off! I can’t send emails out, though I am receiving emails. I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve been going back and forth with tech support, but it still hasn’t been resolved. I guess it’s a good thing that I have other email addresses, eh? Still, it sucks!
And my doggies got groomed today (err, Saturday). Aren’t they just adorable?!
You can’t really tell that Meggie (the lab) is groomed. She’s just really clean now! It’s nice. 🙂 And Saffy (the little Yorkie) is just a total little ham dog, eh? The groomer loved her. What is it about my Saffy that turns other people to mush? “She’s just the cutest thing!” She makes people fall in love with her. I guess it’s cute…
