Pop the cork: A’s take AL West Title
I am SO HAPPY for my boys!!!
As I was walking down the North South Corridor to head out, I checked my phone for the A’s score. It was the bottom of the ninth and it was 3-2, Texas leading. I got in my car, turned the radio on and before I got on 580, the A’s tied the game. SWEET!
All the way up 580, then 205, I kept the radio on, praying that the A’s would score. Somewhere on highway 120, the bases were loaded and Adam Melhuse came up to the plate. The hit, Durazo scored. THE A’S WON!!!
I hollered in my truck, my plates proclaiming my devotion: I(heart)THE AS. WOOHOO!
By the time I got home, the Seattle/Anaheim game was over, the Angels winning. With Seattle’s loss, the A’s became the 2003 American League West Champions.

On the music scene, I’ve “discovered” Maroon 5. I’m totally diggin’ their sound. I’ve checked out their official website and then this website. It has a list of their upcoming shows. Guess where they will be tonight. MODESTO. How many minutes away from my home? Probably ten at the most. NOT FAIR! That is so utterly wrong. LOL!
The music is FANTASTIC. This rock and roll funky groovin’ stuff. 🙂
