I barely come up to Mulder’s shoulder. It’s so weird standing next to him. I thought I fared a bit better with Hudson, but he’s still about a head taller than me. I didn’t realize I was so short! LOL! At least I look less like a little person next to Hudson. Still, I don’t mind standing next to Mulder. But don’t we both look weird in the picture? 😛
Kevin Tod Smith, the Kiwi actor of Xena/Hercules fame, died in China, 16 February 2002 local time. He suffered injuries in a fall from the set of the film he just completed. His wife was with him when he drifted away from this world.
When I found out, my heart just broke. It hurt so bad. And then I thought, if I feel this way, how must his family feel? And then I was even sadder…
I consider myself very lucky to have met such a wonderful and gracious man. You know those people who can just stop a room for the longest moment? That was Kevin Smith. He was warm and friendly and absolutely beautiful inside and out.
After the sadness, I do remember him with a smile too…
