I’m excited about Sunday. It’s FujiFilm Photo Day. I hope I get some good shots of the players. I think I’ll try and take more pictures *with* the players. My goal is a picture with either Tim Hudson or Rich Harden. “But what about Mulder?” You might ask yourself. Well, I think he’s pitching that day (if my calculations are correct), so that means he won’t be making the rounds. So no picture with Mulder for me. I’ll be wearing my Mulder jersey though, so maybe it will amuse the other players. 😛 Yeah, right.
In work related news, congratulations to the other Valerie at work. Yes, there’s two of us in the office. She got a new position and will be leaving our office. Good for her, bad for us. Alas! But I’m very glad for her. She’s a lovely lady and I’ll miss seeing her the 3 times a week I did see her. 😉 And she’s probably going to get to work with one of my favorite gray shirts! Lucky her. 😀
My DVD of Dead Evidence came the other day. I don’t know why, but I’ve been thinking about Kevin Smith a lot lately. I think a lot of it has to do with the Young Hercules episodes. After watching all of them, I missed Kevin so much. And then I’d hear “Melt into Me” or “In the Ghetto” and I would almost cry. Am I totally twisted to miss a man I didn’t know? What does it all mean?
On a much happier note, my friend is getting married in Hawaii next year! I want to go. I think it will be so much fun. Plus it’s been almost ten years since I was last in Hawaii. I love it there, truly. It’s a beautiful place…
And my dear cousin and her fianceé are buying a house. Woohoo! I like the pictures of the house. Can’t wait to see it in person. 😀
