Yes, I did it!  I wrote 50,000 words, strung them along to make sentences and in turn those became paragraphs within something we’ll call a novel.  YAH!

My efforts can be read at Five Wheels, although I think I’m going to change the title of the story since it didn’t actually follow.

THE COWBOY AND THE BOOKWORM

I haven’t been writing my stories, but they constantly swirl through my head. Sometimes they are a comfort against the dreary routine of life.

I’m not really going to call the story “The Cowboy and the Bookworm.” It’s just the way I categorize it in my head. Like “The Baseball Story.” Or “The Jail Story.”

I could also call it “The Beginning in Las Vegas.”

I just don’t know what my characters do for a living. She does something meticulous but ultimately rewarding. He has an investigative nature. But darn it, what do they do?!
