Still fascinated by the new eyes…
“Rezo” – Carlos Ponce
this post inspired by Wah‘s comment in my previous post…
My days recovering from Lasik have been WONDERFUL. I love not needing glasses. Sometimes I forget that I don’t wear glasses anymore and I go to push them up my nose. Silly, eh?
I’ve gotten used to it, so it’s a little strange to hear things like, “You look so different without glasses!” But I suppose if you’ve only known me with glasses, it’s strange to see me without them.
I still use the artificial tears on occasion. Sometimes I wake up and my eyes are dry, so I drop a couple of drops in and all is good. I still haven’t worn too much make up though. I used to wear eye make up everyday and now I think I’ve only tried eye shadow twice or so. Craziness! But hey, less for me to do in the morning. LOL!
On the way to work today we saw a license plate that said “MZ TEXS.” I don’t know why, but it made me laugh… The story in my head is threatening to take over! In my quiet moments, I’m trying to compose it. I keep imagining the different possibilities, but when I try to sit and write it, any of it, my muse flees me. I sometimes wish that I still wrote fanfiction. Much easier… The fence guy is here delivering the materials so that he can do the fence tomorrow. It’s too late for all of this! Grrr… I might be getting another new device. If I do, I’ll definitely show it off. LOL!…

dry eyes!!!
is that like a permanent side effect on lasik?
scary!!!
+ + +
i coulda sworn the A’s were playing today.
i got them mixed up with the giants.
shame shame i know my name.
For some people, dry eyes are a definite side effect. But it’s not really that bad for me. And it’s not everyday.
It’s good that you think of the A’s. I was just glad that they couldn’t lose today!
I’m terrible. I shouldn’t be so pessimistic.
they could surprise us.
shock my socks off, please!!!
Heck yeah!
Well, at least I’m home and I can watch the game. I hope. It had better be on my tv. I’ll be oh so sad if it isn’t!
